Psalm 130

Year A - Fifth Sunday in Lent or Conviction [5]

Speaking Pain to Power

Out of the depths I cry.
Hear my voice; attend to my voice.
You make judgments of my worth.
Who besides yourself can stand anymore?
Yet, even you, carry a forgiveness potential.
Employing it will bring you honor and thanks.
While you judge between my plight and your generosity, I cry.
No one has scanned the horizon for hope more than myself.
It comes down to your choice, this time, that I might have a choice.
With millions of others in their grave, I cry and hope.
Love is on trial again.
A potential for assisting others remains only potential.
How choose you? Will you help?
